Curriculum Vitae
Denis Yashin (b. 1984, lives and works in Vienna) is a visual artist whose practice operates between contemporary abstraction and media-based art.
In the ongoing project Making Sound Visible, he transfers sound waves directly onto canvas, working with sound as a visual system.
After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (2008–2017), he developed a process-based approach to painting that has been presented in exhibitions and projects in Austria and abroad.
In parallel, he has been active in electronic music for many years, with releases on international labels and performances across several European countries.
